Ocenění Grand Master každoročně udílené sdružením Mystery Writers of America získali Ken Follett a Margaret Maron. Cena je udělována za mimořádný a dlouhodobě kvalitní přínos žánru. Margaret Maron je u nás známá pouze díky povídce Co to je jméno? (What’s in a Name?) z antologie Podvodník a jiné povídky (BB art, 2003). Pod jménem Ken Follett si český čtenář vybaví spíše jeho historické romány (Pilíře země, Na věky věků…). Z thrillerů u nás vyšla pouze Sněžná slepota (Knižní klub, 2006). |
